iF Young Talents Award Ceremony

For over 60 years, the iF Design Award has been recognized the world over as a label of design excellence. The iF logo is an internationally established symbol identifying outstanding achievements in design.

I am happy to receive one of these iF Student DESIGN AWARD 2015 together with my teammate Dominik Krug for our concept ‘Sharing is Käring’.

The number of competitors was huge. From nearly 12,000 valid entries to iF's student category in 2015, 100 projects were awarded by an international high-profile jury with an iF student design award.

The award ceremony was held in Hamburg, Germany. The awarded projects are exhibited at the iF design exhibition in the very center of Hamburg’s HafenCity, the go-to place for those with a special interest in design and architecture.

On top of the iF Student Design Award, six visionary concepts for the bathroom were honored with the HANSGROHE DESIGN PRIZE 2015 by iF, an award dedicated to up-and-coming designers.

I won with my water tap concept eve.

In keeping with the motto of "Efficient Water Design: Small Space - Big Shower Pleasure", 448 concepts were submitted from 27 nations - the best 122 entries made it onto the "final list". A panel of 3 bathroom experts awarded the HANSGROHE DESIGN PRIZE 2015 by iF to the six most inspirational ideas

iF jury statement

"Eve uses the possibilities of digital networking to playfully make the user aware of the value of the vitally important resource of water. Indicating the amount of water used, the display is elegantly integrated into the cylindrical faucet. An app to analyze and control individual water consumption and to interact in social networks completes this well-conceived concept.”
